Club purpose: To provide the TMI community with a look into the creativity of its students in the form of art and literature.

Club purpose: To produce the online, student newspaper; Publishing news, information & opinion articles for and about student, faculty and administration activities, interests and policies at TMI.

Bible Study (Upper School Girls), Faculty Sponsor: Tracy Carter

Club purpose: To create a safe place for girls to come and talk about their faith.
Board Game Club, Faculty Sponsors: Michael Haveman, Travis Waddington
Club purpose: To build camaraderie and get students to practice problem solving.
Meetings: This club meets Mondays after school in Coates 215 and Wednesdays during lunch in Coates 215.
Dead Mythopoet's Society, Faculty Sponsor: Derek Neve

Club purpose: To expand the knowledge of different fantastic genres through different mediums for students.
Debate Club, Faculty Sponsor: Thomas Lolis

Meeting times: Friday mornings 8am-8:45 in Coates Room 101
Club purpose: To learn how to debate in Policy Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate, Congress, and Extemp. In these events, one will learn how to debate with other people, will learn how to speak in public, and will learn about current events. We will be competing in state-wide, and hopefully, national tournaments.

Club purpose: To provide our student-athletes the opportunity to engage in fellowship and faith to discover their relationship in Christ through athletics.

Club purpose: To enhance learning of finance and trading of stocks and bonds.

Club purpose: To bring together students with different backgrounds, places of birth, and cultures and to educate them in the spirit of tolerance, respect, and appreciation for diversity.

Club purpose: The purpose of the Latin Club/National Junior Classical League is to encourage an interest in and an appreciation of the language, literature, and culture of ancient Greece and Rome. As well as to impart an understanding of the debt of our own culture to that of Classical Antiquity.

Club purpose: To teach the evolution of our military throughout history.
Model UN, Faculty Sponsor: Luis Murillo

Club purpose: To organize and train students to participate in Model UN meetings in San Antonio and other cities.
Pre-Med Club, Faculty Sponsor: Mark Philippi

Club purpose: To bring together students who are interested in following a medical career in the future. It will also inform those who are unsure if they want to enter the pre-med track.
Quiz Bowl, Faculty Sponsor: Philip Kamau, Travis Waddington
Student Leader: Susannah Wright
Club purpose: To compete in and prepare for Quiz Bowl competitions throughout the school year. Quiz Bowl is a comprehensive and intellectually challenging Jeopardy-style game that allows students to gain a greater depth and breadth of knowledge.

Club purpose: To promote an active interest in science in the TMI community.
Sign Language Club, Faculty Sponsor: Catharine Haveman

Club purpose: To share one of the world's most expressive languages, American Sign Language, with the TMI community and help others understand and appreciate the deaf community.
Singin' Ladies, Faculty Sponsor: Joey DeLoach

Club purpose: An all-girls singing choir that will provide an outlet for female singers to perform together.
Skeet Club, Faculty Sponsor: SFC Partridge
Student Leader: Weston Cleveland
Club purpose: To promote gun safety and good sportsmanship. This club is one that both teaches and practices skeet shooting. Members will practice mental and physical discipline as they progress.
Spanish Club, Faculty Sponsors: Archer/Sobrevinas/Landkamer
Club purpose: To promote awareness, culture, and history of Mexico and the Spanish speaking world as well as providing a forum for our Spanish language community.
Technical Theater Club, Faculty Sponsor: Brian Palandri

Club purpose: To learn all non-acting aspects of the theatrical production process and exercise this knowledge in our school's productions.

Middle School Clubs
Middle School Singers, Faculty Sponsor: Joey DeLoach
Club purpose: To provide Middle School students with the opportunity to sing in a choir and perform.
MS Model UN, Faculty Sponsor: Mari O'Connell
Student Leaders: Peter Fera, Haddie Hill, Eloise Owen
Club purpose: To learn about the workings of the United Nations and develop a first-hand understanding of the operations of the organization by role playing. Students also learn about one particular member country in depth.
National Junior Honor Society
Student Leader: Jacob Saenger
About: The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) recognizes outstanding middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship.
